Intro

10 IIT's, 7 IIM's, 19 NIT's and god knows how many colleges and universities but there is something separate, there is only one DCE.

Its speciality undoubtedly, the zeal of its students!!!!!

So after accomplishing well applauded projects in the fields of engineering, its students ask for more, to spread their wings in the fields, for thoughts are never restricted for engineering students. We are engineers damn it!

Breaking all barriers, they now have entered the field of entertainment. For the first time, a full length movie is being made only by the students, of the students and particularly for the students (as in what we say in democracy).

So now as it is said students are involved, this in itself guarantees a story, something intellectual, different, something different and absent from the present movie strength for the students do not take up any project in hand. Thus inspired from Chekov's work 'THE BET', they bring in to reel picture the movie 'THE BET' in the present scenario.

The Story involves two people, two separate entities, two beliefs and their final clash 'THE BET' which merges everything and ultimately the one who emerges is the one whose true self replies to himself. So through this mammoth task the students bring in a food for thought for two separate schools of thoughts with varied dilemmas and choices that possibly could be undertaken while executing both (for justice has to be done with the story and the audience);

Starting with twenty members hence named 'EICOS' for the production house, the students are being backed by the ' FIRST TIME FILM MAKERS' an Ahmadabad NGO. Other credentials and accolades for the team include a college video completely scrutinised by the drama team, and the co director with the title of NDTV young emerging director.

With this as base, we plough on. We as in the youth in making!!!!!
